drive from Yogyakarta .Most of the journey is along new tarmac roads
and is an easy ride. We would not recommend you to use standar vehicle
to get close the beach, better using local shuttle White sandy beach
infront of us and lies between Siung and Sundak beach.
A few years ago Timang is just an isolated spot at the end of a bumpy
road until the fisherman built the Gondola, Gondola it self actually
is not dedicated to serve the tourist, it is made for their own
needed during catching the Lobster. It’s quite an amazing view. The
Gondola links the mainland with a rocky outcrop that is 20 meters or so
off the shore. It’s built from wood, blue ropes, wood washed up on the
beach and metal pulleys. The whole thing looks like a crazy inventor
built it. The arrival of tourists has meant big changes for the beach. |

A lot of people who come to the beach try the Gondola, and it is “pretty
safe.”The fisherman worked in teams on the pulleys sending people over
to the island. The people running the pulleys had walkie-talkies and
everything just seemed well managed. Beside Gondola now available suspension bridge, it is built for tourist who afraid to ride the
gondola that has exist before, you may cross the sea to reach the coral
island in the opposite.
