How to send the money :- Open the site www.paypal.com
- Sign in if you have already account and sign up if you don't have any account yet, please completely fill the provided form on this site.
- Send the money by following the instruction as shown on the site.
- Additional charge 3,5% will be applied for this transaction and should be beared by the money sender.
- All orders are billed in US Dollars (USD)
- Due to the policies imposed by Paypal on the withdrawal of funds from Paypal account to bank accounts in Indonesia, therefore:
- We are only allowed to withdraw funds from the paypal account denominated in IDR.
- Currency exchange rate between IDR with USD imposed by Paypal in the process of withdrawal is not the same / lower than prevailing in the market.
- So Travelindo enforce the rules as follows in the calculation of PayPal's exchange rate (excluding the 3.5% paypal charge)
- Payments by USD currency
Travelindo would add administration fee of (IDR 300 x payment amount) divided by bank exchange rate (sell / jual).
Example:
1 USD (sell) = 8900 IDR
Payment USD 100 Calculation
So the administration charge = (300 x 100) / 8900 = USD 3.37
Adm USD exchange rate = 3.37
So the payment:
USD 100 + 3.37 = 103.37
Paypal Charge : Total USD 103.37 x 3.5% = 3.61
Total : USD 103.37 + 3.61 = 106.98
- Payment by IDR currency
Payment amount divided by (bank exchange rate (buy / beli) - IDR 300).
Example:
1 USD (buy) = 8770 IDR
Payment IDR 500.000Calculation:
500.000 / (8770 - 300)
500.000 / 8470 = USD 59.03
Paypal Charge: USD 59.03 x 3.5% = 2.06
Total : USD 59.03 + 2.06 = USD 61.09 -
