ITINERARY RECOMMENDATION

Day 01: ARRIVAL – TANGKOKO

Arrive in Manado, meet your guide, then transfer to Tangkoko and check in at Tangkoko Lodge (simple accommodation). Meeting service and dinner.

DAY 02–03: TANGKOKO BIRDING DAYS

Two full days to explore birding in the Tangkoko Nature Reserve. You will be accompanied by a bird-watching guide.

DAY 04: TANGKOKO–KOTAMOBAGU.

After breakfast, continue driving to Kotamobagu. Lunch at a local restaurant, then continue driving for about 5 hours to Kotamobagu. Arrive in Kotamobagu in the late afternoon, check in at Hotel Sutan Raja Kotamobagu, and have dinner.

DAY 05-07: DUMOGA BONE BIRDING

Two full days to explore birding in the Dumoga Bone area. You will be accompanied by a bird-watching guide.

DAY 08: KOTAMOBAGU – TOMOHON

After breakfast, continue driving to Tomohon. Lunch at a local restaurant, then continue driving for about 5 hours to Tomohon. Arrive in Tomohon in the late afternoon, check in at Villa Emitta Tomohon, and have dinner.

DAY 09: TOMOHON AND TRANSFER TO MANADO

Birding around the Minahasa highlands includes a hike up a volcano and visits to Lake Tondano and Lake Linow. Have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to Manado. Free program.

DAY 10: TOMOHON—NEXT DESTINATION

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your next destination.

What's Included

All transportation, accommodation (based on twin/triple sharing), 3 meals per day (BLD), special birding guide fee (English-speaking), local guide/ranger at the national park, permit and conservation fees for the park, and charter boat at Tangkoko.
