BESAKIH - KERTAGOSA TOUR- TEMPLE HIGHLIGHT

what will do:

The first visit will be Tohpati where you will be introduced to the fine art of Batik painting. After this interesting visit, we will proceed to the eastern part of Bali, which is dominated by the presence of the towering Mount Agung (3142 meters). It is Bali’s most sacred and highest volcano with its last eruption in 1963. Built on one of the volcano’s slopes is the Besakih Temple Complex, this important temple is sacred to the Balinese Hindu population and is also called “The Mother Temple”. At Bukit Jambul, we will stop for a refreshing view of the beautiful valley, and you will have the opportunity of having lunch. On our way through the east of Bali, you will discover the traditional village of Penglipuran. This unique social community has a structure and village layout dating back to the 16th century. On our way back we will visit the Hall of Justice, also known as “Kerta Gosa” in Klungkung, Bali´s former capital.
