Karimunjawa is a stunning archipelago located in the Java Sea, about 45 nautical miles from Jepara and 60 nautical miles from Semarang. Consisting of 27 islands, this destination is famous for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and vibrant coral reefs, making it one of Indonesia’s top marine tourism spots.

Only a few islands are inhabited, while the rest remain untouched and naturally beautiful. As part of a protected Marine National Park, Karimunjawa offers diverse ecosystems, including coral reefs, mangrove forests, seagrass beds, and tropical coastal forests—perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

The highlight of Karimunjawa is its underwater world. With more than 30 diving and snorkeling spots, visitors can explore colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, and even shipwrecks. For a unique experience, tourists can swim alongside baby sharks at conservation areas or simply relax on pristine beaches like Menjangan Besar and Cemara Kecil.

Whether you’re diving, island hopping, or just enjoying the peaceful tropical vibes, Karimunjawa offers an unforgettable escape into nature’s beauty.
