PAPUA ADVENTURE goes to Baliem Valley 5 Days 4 Nights
Jayapura is the largest city, boasting a small but active tourism industry; It is a neat
and pleasant city, built on the slope of a hill overlooking the bay. There are
some places that you can visit around the city.
DAY 01 : JAYAPURA-ARRIVAL – Connect to Wamena (L,D)
Arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura, met by our guide then assist for connecting
flight to Wamena. Arrival at Wamena, then transfer to Baliem Pilamo hotel for
check in and take a rest. Note: If arrival in the afternoon, no more flight to Wamena. You will overnight at Ratna Hotel-Sentani (near airport).
Then the next day you will fly to Wamena.
DAY 02: WAMENA Touring (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel then visit Napua hill with spectacular view of Baliem valley,
then continue to see local market. Afternoon, continue to visit hanging bridge
of Wesaput
village and crossing Baliem river. Then, 2 hours safari trek to Syopkosi village
via Pugia village. Afterwards, see the 250 years old Mummy at Aikima
village by car. And then, in the late afternoon, drive back to the hotel for your
meals and overnight.
DAY 03: BALIEM GEORGE EXPLORE (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel and go to Anjelma village of southern
Baliem valley by car (Approx. 45 minutes). Then, trek and explore of Dani people
and villages area for about 3-4
hours. Here, you may see and learn more Dani life and custom. Lunch box will be
provided. Afterwards, drive back to the hotel at noon and overnight.
DAY 04 : WAMENA – JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
Transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura in the morning. Arrival
at airport of Jayapura. You may have sightseeing tour to visit Mac Arthur, 2nd
World War monument, Sentani lake side and villages. Then see the Anthropology
museum, Hamadi market & Jayapura city. Overnight at your hotel choice.
DAY 05: JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE (B)
After having breakfast, free at leisure until the time proceed to the airport
for your next destination.
