PAPUA ADVENTURE exclusive Baliem valley 5D-4N
Irian Jaya, known as Papua, is Indonesia's largest island and easternmost province
and cover the western half of the world's second largest island. It is a land
of exceptional natural grandeur with beautiful scenic beaches, immense stretches
of marshlands cool grassy meadows and powerful rivers carving gorges and tunnels
though dark and dense primeval forest. This program is starting from Jayapura.

DAY 01 : JAYAPURA arrival - WAMENA (L,D)
Morning arrivals of Jayapura airport, met by our guide and assist for connecting
flight to Wamena, then transfer to hotel for check in and visit Napua hill with
good panorama of Baliem Valley. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue
to visit local market, hanging bridge and Dani villages. Return to the hotel at
noon.
DAY 02 : SOUTHERN BALIEM VALLEY EXPLORE (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel and go to Kurima district of southern Baliem valley by car
(Approx. 45 minutes). Then, trek and explore of Dani people and villages area
for about 3 hours. Here, you may see and learn more Dani life and custom. Lunch
box will be provided. Afterwards, drive back to the hotel at noon, have dinner,
and overnight.
DAY 03 : WAMENA – JIWIKA (PIG FEAST AND DANCE) (B,L,D)
After having breakfast, drive to small villages in the north of Baliem Valley
and join with Dani people. Enjoy the Dani traditional dance with earth cook on
hot stones. This performance will be taken about 4 -5 hours. You can see others
Dani village at noon.
DAY 04 : WAMENA – JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
Breakfast and transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura. Arrival at
Jayapura, have sightseeing tour such as Monument of Gen Douglas Mc. Arthur,
Sentani Lake and village, Museum, and Jayapura down town. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05 : JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to the next destinations.
