Mt BROMO (via Surabaya) Tour Package (2D 1N)
One of the most exciting experience is watching the sun rise from the crest
of the BROMO volcanoe which is three hours driveway from Surabaya, followed by
riding
a pony from the Ngadisari village pass by sea of sand to the foot of the volcano.
Ascent of 50 step to reach the rim.
Volcanic sulphur fumes and smoke still emanate from it's depth, while during
intense rumbling can be heard by surroundings. People who believes in the God
of Bromo
will bring offering quickly when they heard that rumbling.
The annual offering ceremony of Kasada is held on 14th day of Kasada, the twelfth
month in the Tenggerese calender year. Travelindo suggests itinerary below to
visit the beautiful sunrise in Bromo.
Day 01 : SURABAYA – BROMO
Arrive in Surabaya Airport or Hotel Surabaya. Meet & greet with our tour
guide. Transfer to Mt. Bromo. Check into Hotel in Bromo area.
Day 02 : BROMO SUNRISE – SURABAYA – TRANSFER OUT (B)
 Early morning wake up 03.30 A.M, leaving hotel to Penanjakan
(2750 meter) by local transport (or 4 WD jeep) from hotel. Proceed to the View
Point, the best position to see the sunrise. Go down to the sand ocean then continued
by horse (Personal expense) or walk on foot across the sand ocean and climb up
to Mt. Bromo. We still have 250 steps to climb until you reach the rim of the crater of Mt.Bromo
(2300 meter). After watching the beautiful sunrise and spectacular view surrounding
Mt. Bromo return to your hotel & have breakfast. Check out from hotel then
transfer to Surabaya airport or Hotel Surabaya. End of service
