Sea Safari Cruises Package, Bali – Komodo – Kelimutu – Bali “ Explore The World Biggest Lizard, ‘KomodoDragon’ and ‘Kelimutu Three Colours Lake’” 10 Days/ 9 Nights

Kelimutu National Park is located on the island of Flores, Indonesia. It has a unique and spectacular view on its three crater lakes with their respective colors. The colors, however, have changed continually since the eruption of Mount Iya in Ende in 1969. The surrounding villages are good places serving as bases or visits to Kelimutu, particularly those who wish to have a more leisurely place and enjoy the views.
Travelindo suggests itinerary below to visit the beautiful scenery:

Day 1: Benoa, Bali – Labuan Amuk
Embarkation on to the sea Safari in Benoa Harbor. Departure at 09.00am, welcome drinks will be offered. Cabin allocation will take place before depart to Labuan Amuk for free water activities such as snorkeling or diving.  In the late afternoon, we depart to Teluk Nara (Nara Bay), Lombok.

Day 2: Nara Bay, Lombok
In the early morning as the sun rises over Mount Rinjani, we anchor in Nara Bay on the North West Side of Lombok. After breakfast, we go ashore and our first visit is the tropical forest at Pusuk where we can feed monkeys and in a clear weather, enjoy the amazing view of surrounding forest and of the Gili Island. We then continue to the local market Gunung Sari and to the center Bamboo Handicrafts around there to be a witness to the process and technique of bamboo's export quality product. We go on to visit Lingsar Temple, a unique site that dates back to 1714 and that sacred to both Hindus and Moslems and proceed to Banyumulek to see how the local people make famous pottery product. Passing through the most famous tourist resort of lombok, Senggigi Beach on the way to the boat, we stop at Malibu the most fantastic view point to see the Gili Island in a clear weather, Bali Island. Over lunch, the boat will raised the anchor and we set sail to Satonda.

Day 3: Satonda Island, Sumbawa
In the early morning, we arrive in Satonda, the uninhabited island, which is separated by a narrow strait from the Tamboja Volcano on the Sumbawa mainland, the site of largest eruption in recorded history. Going ashore, we discover that Satonda itself is a volcano, a small black basaltic cone rising out of the sea. You can land on its little beach, follow a trail to a cleft in the cone, and enter the volcano's caldera. The caldera contains a narrow strip of land surrounding a black, salty lake. On this peaceful island, there will be free time for swimming and snorkeling or diving. In the afternoon, we sail to Komodo.

Day 4: Komodo National Park
In the morning, we arrive in Rinca passing through the small amazing panoramic island. In the afternoon, we will arrive in the land of “Komodo Dragon”, the largest monitor lizards on earth, then enter to the Komodo National Park. Escorted by a local ranger, we walk around the park to find the huge animal at very close range in their own habitat and enjoy the fascinating panorama of the island in the late afternoon. Around sunset time, we leave for Aimere.

Day 5: Aimere
Morning pick up from Aimere Pier and directly drive to Bajawa (a cool town in the middle of Flores highland) for about 1.5 hours. The first stop will be made on the foot of Mt Inelika for about 2.5 hours trekking to see the Wawo Muda ‘five new lakes’. It erupted in Jan 2001, damaging farmlands but hurting no one. It was a wonderful sight, and the like up though the farmlands was lovely. Return to Bajawa for Indonesian lunch at Camelia Restaurant then visit Bena- a megalithic village, where people do preserve their ancestral spirits believed and way of life which can be seen in their “ngadhu” and Bhaga”- conical thatched roof huts symbolized their Male and Female ancestral spirit. On the way, stop on slope of Inerie active volcano for taking pictures. At noon, return to Aimere to get on board.

Day 6: Ende
Breakfast at 05.30 then drive up to Kelimitu volcano to see the three colored lakes. Upon arrival, walk for 1.5 km and ascend 127 steps to the top to view Kelimutu’s green, blue and black lakes. A dutch geologist discovered Kelimutu in 1914; at the time the lakes were red, blue and white. Then return to Moni for lunch at Kelimutu Restaurant. Proceed to Jopu village to view beautiful hand woven clothes and its traditional lionese houses before returning to Ende to get on board.

Day 7: Labuan Bajo
Early in the morning, we arrive in another island in Flores, Labuan Bajo. Prepare yourself for half day excursion to Melo Village to see Caci dance performance and go to the local market. Lunch and dinner served onboard before sailing to Bima.

Day 8: Bima
Welcome to another place in the heart of eastern Sumbawa, Bima the busy traditional harbor. Our representative will pick you up and we spend to explore the town and the Donggo highland west of Bima Bay in the morning. Around lunchtime, we leave the quay and after sailing out of Bima Bay, go on a westerly headling again for our overnight passage to Moyo.

Day 9: Moyo
Early arrival at Moyo, a wild-life and marine reserve. We make a landfall visit on Moyo, a small island of the northern Sumbawa. We stop at one of several fine snorkeling sites along its west coast and go ashore at the village of labuan Haji. In the late afternoon, we hoist the anchor and sail back to Benoa, Bali.

Day 10: Bali
Early morning, the ship leaves Gili Island for Benoa harbor in Bali. Before we reach the mount of Benoa, near Sanur (Bali) we will see pulau Serangan – also known as Turtle Island. At low tide, we will take you to this island for Turtle Conservation Tour. Previously, turtles are captured and fattened up here in pens before being sold for village feasts. However, turtles are now being protected on the west coast of Bali due to dwindling numbers and tourists are advised to refrain from eating any turtle meat or buying products made from turtles. Upon arrival in Benoa Harbor at 12.00 noon (after lunch) you will be transferred to your hotel. We hope you have a very nice trip.
