a cool, modern retreat for young urbanites and executives. The hotel’s clean,
modern lines embrace an abstract-minimalist interior. The name Alila comes from
Sanskrit meaning ‘surprise’, which suitably describes the refreshing character
of the hotel and the reaction of most guests. This concept sets a trend for the
city and is in keeping with the emergent energy of Jakarta.
There are 43 Executive Rooms and 103 Deluxe Rooms at 30 sqm each, overlooking
the Presidential Palace, government ministries and historical landmarks in Jakarta.
All rooms are equipped with high-speed internet access. Just launched in mid 2005
are 19 Executive Ladies rooms on the 15th floor. Suites: 12 Executive Suites at
53 sqm each, with a separate living area and internet services as well as DVD
players .
